I can provide a forwarder that does this if you need it. Well, it searches in SD first, so I don't know if that will mess it up for you. I'll make it clear that it's not official.

I can give you either a boot.dol or a wad that is already created if you're interested.

For clarity, my forwarder searches in SD first, so it'll go......

SD:\apps\triiforce\boot.dol
SD:\apps\triiforce\boot.elf
USB:\apps\triiforce\boot.dol
USB:\apps\triiforce\boot.efl

So if you don't have it on SD, it'll go to usb and launch it if there. If none of it is there, and you have it as a channel, it will just go back to the system menu.

Wow 25 pages of reading and I'm close to getting this thing installed and loading up my Wiiware till my eyes bleed. This looks amazing, I cannot tell you how many times I've unistalled and installed Wiiware on my Wii because of limited blocks, having this with unlimited space seems outrageous.

Big thanks to Nicksasa, The Lemon Man, WiiPower & Empyr69er for freeing my Wii from its block prison.

Also thanks to Blue-K for the Noob post #69 which I'll use to get this thing going.

ive posted around saying that i couldnt get ntsc games majoras mask and bit.trip core to work through usb on an ntsc system.

i found out what was wrong with bit.trip core.

it turns out it was having trouble making a save file. i installed the wad on my real nand, loaded it normally (not through triiforce) made the save, got a highscore, then used fstoolbox and dumped the content, data, and ticket for this game and used those, and now it loads up perfectly through triiforce and usb.

as for majoras mask, i can *sometimes* get it to load, but 95% of the time i get a stack dump / code dump. i could post them here if needed

this IS nand emu, i dont know what you peepz can expect more (exept nand emu in a disc loader, wich i already have ...)

I think there was a bit of confusion when people started talking about NAND emulation a while back. Some posts implied that you'd be able to have a NAND dump on an SD card and load the system menu from that, rather than from the real NAND. In this way you'd be able to have an SD card that made your Wii into a 3.2U and another card that made it into 4.1E, for example. There were also suggestions that you'd be able to install themes and so on to the NAND dump to try them out without risk of bricking your real NAND.

I imagine that scenario is virtually impossible, but I think it's what some people were expecting. Now that NAND emu is out there it will be interesting to see where people take it. Thanks for all your work guys, this is a BIG step forward.

edited my initial post, i can sometimes get majoras mask to load, about 5% of the time. the other 95% i get a stack dump / code dump error. i can post that here if necessary

Receiving nothing, but code dumps except twice when using HDD..... redumped the NAND several times, but issue persists. Tried both USB ports First port gives the dump. Second gives this error:

Any suggestions would be helpful! My system is 4.1u with Bootmii v2 and preloader CIOS Rev 14 CIOSCORP V2. HDD is a Maxtor One touch 640GB HD. Works with USBGX and MplayerCE with no issues. SD is a Sandisk 2GB and works with homebrew and bootmii. Been unable to get Triiforce to work with SD card using channel without Triiforce on card.
Issue happens when using Triiforce as loader (without .dol on card) or through HB channel. Works fine when choosing real nand through loader or HB channel.

What? Could you repeat your problems in a way somebody who doesn't know it can understand it?

It *looks* like you have 1 problem with usb and one with channel, but i'm not sure.

I get that dump regardless if I use the channel or the app directly. When I use the channel I make sure the app is not on on my SD. If I use the 2nd USB port it says it doesn't find files. 1st port gives the dump. TriiForce works fine either way using real NAND. I thought as you guys wrote the app you may be more familiar with the code dumps or have suggestions to get it working.

You've got it! It works (finally)!!! The partition must be set to active using Windows XP Disk Management !!!
Now I'm gonna try to install WAD using WAD Manager 1.5 MOD 'cause I had the same issue (error -1)...

In Wadmanager, i choose NAND emu: SD, source SD, maybe that is the problem (having wadmanager, the FS and wads on the same media) ?

I've tried WadManager 1.5 normal, the WadManagerGUI (but he can't install on a NAND emu) and WadManagerMod3 by Wiininja, same issue !

So please how to install a wad on a NAND copy in the SD ?

You can't use the same source for both nand and wads.

Installing wads from sd will not work if your emulating sd nand.

It has to be wads from sd to emulated usb nand or wads from usb to emulated sd nand.

Thank you for reply i found a little windows app wich calls wad2nand and convert under windows your wads in folders called title and ticket. I just need copy this to my NAND folder and it works !

You can't use the same source for both nand and wads.

I prefer install wads from the PC with Wad2NAND and emulate from SD, This is the simpliest way I think (1/ Simple FS Dumper 0.2, 2/ extract wads with wad2nand, 3/ copy to sd title & ticket folders, 4/ lauchn triiforce and choose sd nand, 5/ enjoy

FYI, you can't install DLC with wad2nand.
