I was having the EXACT same problem.

I noticed you have been using SD cards for your testing. TRY using a USB flash drive or external drive for your next test. Just use the orginal dumped files you have, no need to dump again.

I can now mount my emulated NAND on USB drive with Wadmanager 1.5

I was constantly getting the -1 error when trying to mount my SD card but now that mounts fine after getting my USB to work first. I have no idea whats up with that but I"m happy.

Running 3.2 firmware with Rev14
I'm either going to give up, or start my own topic, since nothing is working. I've tried 2 different usb devices, both freshly formatted to FAT32 set to active primary "full" partitions, and I still get the ret = -1 error. I tested these drives using every application, and I can successfully install wads from these drives to my actual system menu, run homebrew, etc. My devices are 100% compatible with softmodding, so I know it's not the device.

I even dumped my nand again using the full FS-Toolbox app, and got the exact same dump. Only this time, I used IOS249 when dumping, since it said my saves would remain intact, and I didn't get any errors (a perfect dump). I placed the folders within the FS Dump on the root of 3 different sd cards, and 2 different USB drives (all devices confirmed working with softmod).

I launch WadManager 1.5, press A to select IOS249, enable NAND emulation from sd/usb (they all contain my nand backup), and then select sd/usb as source (again both devices contain the wads in wad folder that I wish to install). When the wads show up, I scroll down to Super Mario 64 NTSC (example), but when I choose to install, I get the ret = -1 error. Everything is in place, I have a lot of softmodding experience, and all my steps should result in success.

I'm seriously beginning to believe that this might be a bug in WadManager 1.5. Something in my NAND is causing an issue, and I'm not sure what it is. I have Preloader, Bootmii (IOS), and the average selection of forwarders and WiiWare installed. I tried using Triforce to load from my actual NAND, and it gives me a code dump. I know I'm not alone in this problem, and I only hope that Wanin's full nand emu doesn't give me the same problems.

Are you using Wanins official wadmanger or are you using a wadmanger created by someone else with a forwarder.

I noticed I was using a forwarder version of it which hard a larger boot.dol file size. You might want to compare that and try running different variations of Wadmanager if you do in fact notice that.

I get surprised when i tried a dumped nand from a user on my pal wii. I was able to install injected vc games on that emulated nand (dont know pal or ntsc) and then load that games with triiforce. VC menu games appears in english (not in spanish) and the first time i had to resincronice wiimote. It was strange/a surprice becasue i didnt think it work...

Every time i try dumping my nand i get the same issue
Error: fopen(sd:/FSTOOLBOX/title/00010000/52483650/data/HP:HBP0) returned 0
Dont understand what it means, but i take it the file is Harry Potter Half Blood Prince save... maybe??

its probably a problem with the colon in the filename, someone else reported as similiar problem

Heres a dol, it's not really useful beyond showing you some banner stuff because I don't think the launcher even works in this code. Not positive it will load the right banner on wiiware, it does on FFCC Darklord. VC should load the right image. It will randomly display a banner from a different channel than the one selected, idk why. Probably due to my poor C skills

you did see the part where yesterday I was in a van for 14 hours straight right? I'll join when I get to my apartment in a lil bit

Has the same prob (described a few posts erlier..) - Just skip this file by pressing (A) on your Wiimote and the backup should work fine ....

Have you tried this setup?

Run Wad Manager 1.5 from SD Card and install wads to NAND on USB HDD?

I was having the same -1 error until I tried this...

Good luck!

I have this configuration. Installing multiple WADs is realy a pain in the ass, but it works. I often get -1024 errors. But after a reboot the wad installs.

Installed so far:
Tales.of.Monkey.Island.Chapter.One.PAL.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - My Life as a Dark Lord (PAL) + DLC
Final Fantasy IV - The After Years (NTSC) +DLC
The_Three_Musketeers_PAL
Onslaught-PAL

Everything's working fine

yeah the Harry potter issue isnt so easy to fix, as fat cant have ":" i!n a filename, while it cant eb (clearly ...) on the FS so you cant really backup that file

Hi all,

I've tested Triforce with a nand backup I made of a previous bricked wii.
I can play my purchased games (but lost since brick), that's great.

I've tried something tricky in order to retrieve my old saves. Ive made a wad of savemanager, installed it on emulated nand and launched it with triforce.
But all I get is a black screen....

I would be happy to get all my saves back. Is there a hope I can do that with Triforce ?

Sorry, IF you would read, Triiforce can (currently?) only Load VC/WiiWare games. No custom Channels (for now?), sorry. Please read next time...

I don't understand why people even care about Triiforce not loading custom channels. The only real reason they're there is convenience. Loading them through Triiforce would defeat the purpose of their existence.

Sorry Blue K. It was dinner time and I post a little too quickly.

About custom channel, I didn't point a bug but a wishlist.

Another feedback : bomberman wiiware works but is complaining about missing mii channel.

Now if somebody would confirm it actually works, that would be great. I only tested that i get a connection to Wiird one 2 games, but no cheats, i don't even know how to do that exactly.
