Hacking Transferring Manaphy from an R4 Card

I'm getting an R4 card in the mail in a couple of days, and I want to complete Pokemon Ranger so I can get Manaphy on Platinum. If I completed Pokemon Ranger on my R4 card, could I transfer Manaphy to my physical Platinum? Sorry if that sounds confusing.

You beat the game and then you transfer it by sending a message. IE you need two DS' and you send it from Ranger to a gen 4 game

I've done it from flashcart to flashcart before, so flashcart to physical copy should work just fine as well.

Yup.
I have like 5 DS flashcarts laying around

SuperCard DS One, R4, CycloDS Evolution, AK2i, CycloDS iEvolution, SuperCard DSTWO.
I think that's all of them (in that order)
Edit: Oh and the Gateway blue card.

It can be any flashcard honestly, I tried this method years ago with two R4's, so it is entirely possible to do, heck, you can even use distribution roms on there with two flashcards, this method of transferring works even with emulators afaik

Alright thanks! Would you happen to know if transferring pokemon from gen 4 to 5 would work with a flashcart too? If not it's fine.

It should be possible. There were issues in the past with flashcards not being able to connect to the Wii except the CycloDS, iEDGE, EZ V and Supercard ONE, but there shouldn't be any issue from DS to DS.
