Hardware Transferring confusion

Here's the problem - I have two 3DS, a classic Black one and the XL Pikachu. The black has the Ambassador status. I've read several times on the net that it is possible to transfer the Ambassador status (among other things) from a console to another without losing it on the first one, but other sources contradict it and I don't know what to think about.

So, here's my questions :

1) Is it true ?
2) If yes, how does it works ? If not, are there ways to have said Ambassador status on both consoles ?

EVERYTHING is transfer to the other eds
then the old 3ds if 100% formated

you CAN'T keep anything on the old 3ds when you transfer
