Gaming transfer one game to another console without deleting data?

I managed to get 2 Wii U's (dont ask why). One I used for a few years, the other is just a new wii u that came with mario kart 8, sitting in my closet for about a year, still functioning. Is there any way I can transfer Mario kart 8 to my old wii u console without deleting the data on it?

The easiest option would be to download and install Mario Kart 8 to the old Wii U using something like Wii U USB Helper (or whatever the alternative is these days).
