Hacking Transfer .3ds save to .3dz game (Same game)

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to makea regular make a .3ds savefile compatible with a .3dz version of a game?
This is considering they're the same game, of course.

I just played quite a bit of the new Story of Seasons on a .3ds ROM without knowing that it had online functionalities and I don't really want to restart from scratch. Playing online would mean that I'd need to change the file extension to .3dz, which means I'd forfeit the current save.

Use savedatafiler to export your save, rename to 3dz and import it back.
