Yes they work for the R4DS, but thats expensive. This kingston also works. Its a pretty good price and I use in my R4DS

Hi, I got the the transcend 1GB from their own online shop for €21,- inc shipping. From what i have seen, iall games work, except for castlevania por maybe.

Shame you don't live in the UK. Amazon.co.uk have the 1gb sandisk microsd cards for £7.99. I got mine about 2 weeks ago from amazon and it was £14.99. I wonder if the prices of the microsd cards have gone down with so many people buying a slot 1 solution?
