Hacking Touch Screen problem

well i have my DS for 1 year now but yesterday my touch screen turned black. i turned off my DS to see if it will be back to normal but it't still there! Now i could not play properly beacause of the touch screen being black. Does someone know how can i fix it?

loose ribbon cables? or get a new one.

Its NOT the touchscreen, its the bottom LCD - sounds like the backlight has gone you can replace the bottom LCD for about £10, you need a tri wing screwdriver and a bit of patience - and read the guides on how to take apart
