Gaming touch mechanic

so im playing, and i didnt have enough money to upgrade my car for the custom show and there was no more missions to earn money, so i sold my car, now im stuck with no car, not enough money to buy a new one and no mission...wtf? did i fuck my game up?

No money.. I didnt have that problem.. And the missions just go on until you win customs show 5..
