Not only would it download at ridiculously slow speeds, but you're only going to download at max 2GB on most flashcarts (that's the highest supported, unless it has HCDP (or whatever) for most flash carts) so 256kbps on 2GB = not worth it. And I'm fairly sure your battery would die before the DS overheats. And if you have the DS charging that whole time, please tell me how long it takes for the DS to overheat. I've never even heard of that.

ya man. when r dey gonna port teh xp 2 ds?????????????

then get a file that can search files,a nd copy other files from the Ds to a certain place, like PSPFIler. Then I can see it having some sort of use.

When does having XP have to do with uTorrent? Other than nothing, that is.

It will never reach resonable speeds I'm surprised the tc is so stupid to not know that. If the DS had 802.11n wireless instead of G it MIGHT of worked a SOMEWHAT decent speeds but it has nothing.

Um, actually, if the dslinux guys port it, there could be a bittorrent client (for CLI of course), then, you'd just have to wget the .torrent file. Or grab it using retawq/links

I can imagine one or two scenarios where this could "SAVE YOUR LIFE", but I must admit that one (or two) of the scenarios involves porn.

EDIT : hell, if you're smart enough, I bet you could compile it right now, couldn't ya?

you can do it, recompile dslinux with rtorrent, then edit .rtorrent.rc in the /home directory to include a session directory. Any torrent file placed in that directory(via wget or whatever) with be downloaded by rtorrent automatically. It works in theory but don't know if it will for real.

Why would you want to do this if you already have a pc?
