Oblivion, WOW, and the overwhelming majority of KH and FF titles aren't on the DS. He's some MMO player who also happens to be brainwashed by Squeenix.

Good shout. Not enough credit is given to Suikoden and is under-rated IMO. I know the voice acting is poor and there are some gameplay features missing on the DS but I would say this is one of my top 5 games on the DS full stop.

I would have to put Soma Bringer in my list though, probably in place of FFIV.

Looking outside the DS my top 5 would probably be....
Diablo II : Lord Of Destruction
Secret Of Mana
Knights Of The Old Republic
Illusion Of Gaia
Kingdom Hearts

The fact you put Final Fantasy at 4 is a joke. I don't even like Final Fantasy games and still think they should be #1. Simply put, every single game on that list wouldn't be if it weren't for what Final Fantasy did.

Kingdom Hearts is just hacking n' slashing and not a very deep RPG. It's still fun, though. Many people just think it's "so great" because of the fanboy following.

TWEWY shouldn't even be in the top 25. People just hyperventilate over it because anime characters + Tokyo + anime-ish story = fanboys.

My top 5:

- Final Fantasy series (even if I don't like it IS the RPG game)
- Pokemon (say what you might, but it's a huge franchise and the pinnacle of portable gaming)
- Golden Sun (I like it)
- Super Mario RPG (it's fucking awesome)
- Chrono Trigger (I think the game is terrible, but I can still acknowledge what innovations it brought to RPGs as a whole)

On the DS... Maybe. I mean, I eventually got bored of it, but I find that it was fun. Not the RPG of the decade, that's for sure, but it's nice. Maybe I'm picky with my RPGs, but I find that the DS has a lot of RPGs but few fun ones.

I'm stumped on why I think Golden Sun is so awesome. It's so similar to older FF game (battle wise, random encounters, classes, etc), yet it's fun for me. Damn, they're good.

1. Super Mario RPGs (better than sidescrollers)
2. TWEWY
3. Devil Survivor (A somewhat lamer version of TWEWY)
4. Pokemon (it died after platinum/diamond/pearl)
5. Kingdom Hearts

I don't really like KH or FF.
