Hey guyz! I was wondering what do you guys think are the top DS RPG/ Fighting Games?

Here's Mine:

1. Pokemon Platinum, Heart Gold, Pokemon Diamond

2. Dragon Quest

3. Kingdom Hearts 352/2 Days

Fighting:

1. Naruto Shippuden

2. Naruto Ninja Destiny

Naruto games are absolutely terrible... ergh.
Don't really see the point of this, but whatever.

1: TWEWY

2: Tales of Innocence (pretty much tied for first though)

3: Kimdong hearts 358/2 days

^ Replaced by Tales of Hearts when it goes english.

Fighters:

-Bleach...something or other, it had a stupid title but it wasn't terrible (besides it being Bleach, which is crap). The DS doesn't have any good fighting games. Unless i'm completely forgetting something.

You say Top 10...

But All I see is Top 3 and Top 2.

Plus you're too broad, theres 13+ Dragon Quest games on NDS, which one are you talking about exactly?

And Naruto games are mediocre at best. If they're your favorite, then you obviously don't like the cream of the crop.

Jump Ultimate Stars

You didn't need to prove my point further, lol.
JUS is absolutely terrible, and the character choices just make it even worse then terrible.

yes
even with the patch it doesn't help and there's no character select screen

Have you even tried it?
It has TONS of customization.
The reason there's no character select screen is because you make your own decks. = w =

This argument is retarded, obvious troll is obvious. He forgot and felt the need to cover it up in the worst way possible.

3. Final Fantasy A2.
4. Mario & Luigi : Bowser's Inside Story.

What are you even talking about, lol?
Not quite sure who you're talking to, or why. In the context of the quote, what you said made absolutely no sense.

I think mine is also Pokemon Gold and Silver. Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts. I also love Mario Kart as the racing game. Pretty good games overall.

RPG:

- Pokemon: Regardless of all the hatetards it's still got an incredible amount of depth and even more in terms of content and playtime than even console RPGs.
- Nostalgia: Battle mechanics are pretty textbook outside of aerial battles but it does them very well.
- Sands of Destruction: Fun game, not much else to say outside of that.
- Tales of Innocence: A great translation really helps here, and the battle system, graphics, and even the story are good.
- Final Fantasy IV: Although this is a shitty version of it, if you don't have another way to play it (like the better GBA version), this is acceptable. It's a FF game worth playing.
- Puzzle Quest: CotW: The PSP version is a lot better, but this is fine. There's a lot to do and I love the Bejeweled battle system. The original is better than Galatrix or the sequel.

Fighting:

- Jump! Ultimate Stars: Even if you don't like manga (like me), it's still the closest to SSB you'll get on the DS.

Not sure what else here, people say the Bleach games are decent fighters, but I haven't bothered.

Racing:

- Sideswiped: Beats Mario Kart DS in my book any day. It's an awesome Burnout-like game. Balls to the wall speed, crashes, explosions, and it gets pretty varied too. Only thing that sucks is no Wi-Fi competitive modes outside of leaderboards, but it's awesome.
- Mario Kart DS: It's still a good kart racer though, and probably the best reason to do Wi-Fi on the DS.
- Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing: Only problem with this is handcramps from using all the face buttons + bumpers, but it's still fun enough.
- Speed Racer: One of the better movie tie-in games there. Kinda like F-Zero with some interesting mechanics. Fun game.

RPG:
Try the essential list , or any of the 20 threads posted in the past week

Fighters:
Bleach dark souls , JUS

Racers:
GRID , Mario kart

I agreed with the rest of your post but Nostalgia bored the SHIT out of me.. I actually gave it a HUGE chance and played it for a long time. It was quite entertaining for a while, but it's just so incredibly unoriginal and formulaic that I couldn't bare playing any longer..

Seriously, it's just a clone of FF3 DS, except with generic characters, and a forgettable storyline... Okay FF3's storyline was nothing great either, but at least the characters were given enough personality to make it playable >__> Rather than just dull, generic clones... with poorly written, boring dialogue.

LOL sorry for going completely off-topic and ranting about it.

EDIT: And meh, how were the aerial battles THAT much different from the regular ones? They were still way too easy and boring as shit. And I remember every so often the difficulty curve just went nuts and a super-hard enemy would appear out of nowhere! I'm not saying any part of the game was TOO hard, it just seemed wildly unbalanced to me.

RPG: Pokemon Series, Final Fantasy Series, Ace Attorney Series (?), and Tales Series

Fighting: JUS, Bleach 2nd

Racing: Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing.

Those are some that I have enjoyed!
