Tool to verify FW?

I am going to be upgrading my PS4 pro's HDD to an SSD. Currently I have 9.0 and everything is working great with goldhen and the like.

In my infinite paranoia, I downloaded 9.0 recovery FW but is there any tool out there that can read the update PUP to completely verify that its indeed 9.0 and not 9.03?

Check the md5 hash is correct.

I usually check the md5 not only when I have downloaded the FW but also after I have copied it to USB.

It does but you would want to know before installing, surely. Some people put corrupted pups up, fake named pups and other shit and people don’t pay attention when updating.

TotallyLegit_9.03_JellBrek_FiNaL.PUP for example….
