A quick google tells me that iDevices do support composite output. Although to me, that pic looks like microUSB, not lightning.

It should work fine, though as far as I can tell from a quick google search there aren't any Lightning to Composite cables at all, just Lightning to HDMI.

That said, you might be able to try a 30pin to Composite with a 30pin to lightning adapter. No idea if it would work, but it might be worth a try.
