Yep, you read the title correctly; all past exploits are supported by Total_Noob's latest eCFW. If you have not heard of TN-V prior to reading the thread's title, then you either just got into the PS Vitaexploit scene, or you haven't been paying a lot of attention recently. As usual, go to Wololo.net and download the exploit for your specific game/region.

IMPORTANT: This eCFW requires the "660.pbp" update file, but that is on the same wololo.net posting as well.

... Wasn't there already a thread (with tutorial) about this? Posted in January IIRC...

You are probably thinking of TN-C, not TN-V. Total_Noob just released this one, and it even has the PSP XMB!!!

Is it ok to ask which game the exploit is in? Also, can I use other saves or cheats with CFW? Sorry, am new to the Vita hacking scene :P

Suzie, you're right. I misread the thread.

Skeet, since you're new to the scene, its unlikely you've had the opportunity to download an exploitable game before it got pulled from PSN. These games include Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Urbanix, Gravity Crash and UNO. There are more but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Downloading them now won't work because they've been patched.

There are still at least 3 more exploitable games in the horizon, so when they get named you have to download them as quick as possible before Sony pulls them. The best way to get clued in is to register on Wololo's forums.

If you're fortunate enough to already have your Vita hacked, then the news about TN-V would actually help you.

D: now that I finally made an account I can stop lurking and talk : x I usually just log in every night until I get the message but stopped doing that since I got Urbanix and Gravity Crash : x figured that I could get more to keep testing the difference but found out that some exploits work on a bit different then other before TN V so yea I did mess up there^^; in any case for those who missed it but still have a low firmware PSvita and own a ps3, you could always buy/download it by PS3 within the PSN store and send it to your PSvita through the Open content manager and replug it to the ps3 thus allowing the connection to let you copy your software with license and everything. I only heard this and tried it with twitter but haven't tried this with a game : x hope that was helpful!

If the exploitable game is back on PSN, then it will have already been patched to prevent such a workaround from working. Downloading it on PS3 or Vita won't really make much difference.

^^; Actually User's work around still works from my experience. But you are confusing the patch and where they are placed to prevent game exploits. The patch are not inserted into the game like you're thinking about (that would take talking to the company who developed it and asking them if sony can put their own codes to patch it and such, there's just no way) but what they do is pull the game out do an mandatory firmware update or two and patch the vita's firmware {Exploit Game Name} and {Overflow Buffer}. This is why it is never actually fully closed window. Because each game has a different set of codes to insert just to make it not work. I could be wrong but I been reading up on those things for a year or two now X D

Wow that was nerdy as balls. D : sorry for that lame read, I was following those exploits and more forever~
