Hacking Question Tinfoil NSP installation issue

Hello again, Ive recently fixed by switch by just buying a new one. I've got tinfoil set up, the hbg store version not the USB installer.
Im able to install every other game, but whenever i try to download smash the app just shuts down with the message, "The software was closed because an error occurred"

This didn't happen at all before and im wondering whats up.

Ive got sigpatches, this is on emmuMC(not sure i spelt it right) with firmware 8.1.0 AMS 0.9.4

Also this is the tinfoil(hbg shop) that i got from the uh..reddit, not sure i can link it here without breaking any rules but it was a drag and drop folder: It Just Works.zip.
that should be everything.

Also i did in fact google this issue before making this post but couldnt find people with the exact same issue. For example the similar threads right above this one is about the usb tinfoil, ticket failed to install, homebrew installation, and Super XCI (which i dont think im using here). I also saw something about sdfiles updater, so ill download that while i wait for you guys's input on this situation just to have bases covered.
