ok, so recently, i found my ds under my laptop wich had been on for like 7 hours on my bed. i think it overheated or somthing because when i push the touch screen REEAAALLLYYY hard, the top screen gets tinted red and freezes. so i think its time for an upgrade! i found a guy on kijiji in my area who is selliung a ds lite for $50 and a dsi for $70 (Canadian dollars) i know that i can easily raise enough money for either in 5 months (or less for the ds lite... but... ya... like $4 per week for allowance T_T). i have a r4-sdhc (r4i-sdhc.com) wich DOESNT support the dsi, and an ez flash expansion pack. i could easily buy a new flashcart if i bought a dsi. so heres my question:

Should i get a new ds lite,
get a dsi,
or use the one i have now

basher is right....
and if you were going to get a new DS I would save money and get a lite. DSi's aren't that great, really. I have a DSi XL but that's cause of the screen size.

read the bolded. that's what you should NOT be doing
What he said and if you don't have a card that doesn't work on DSi (or 3DS) and don't want to buy one, just buy a cheap DS Lite.

k thanks that solves my problem. im gonna buy a new ds lite! (insert cheering here) after all, id miss the gba slot anyhoo!

I personally think DS phats are better than lite. My brother has a DS lite and the buttons are SO difficult to press.

Maybe I have to get used to them?

But that's for the OP to decide and I think phats are rarer than lites now.

I think you should get a DSi.

They're less prone to breakage, the buttons are clicky but still raised, and they're just EPIC.

And then you can get an AK2i or something for $15.

see i wouldnt go for a xl or 3ds cuz theye both pretty expensive on Kijiji (ya... budget is $80 or less)

I also have a DSi, but that is because of my broken DS Lite. In your situation I would choose for buying a DS. I just think that is the best option.

well, since you have all that stuff ( the r4, expansion pak ) for the lite, go get the lite. it is cheaper, too
