I was playing Rage of the Dragons and... well I have a VERY HIGH SUSPICION that "Pepe Rodriguez" is a nod to both Pepe Sierra and Gus Rodroguez.



I don't have proof, but consider ROTD was developed by EVOGA, a Mexican based game developer partner of SNK... and both Pepe and Gus were the Editorial Directors of "Revista Club Nintendo" which was oficially licensed by Nintendo and came out before Nintendo Power... they even outlasted the americans. Rest in peace Gus Rodriguez!
