Bro I have that toy, it is not the same 😭

From what I recall, the image was a mini statue of Mario sold exclusively at the Nintendo New York Store waaaayyyyy ago, like in the 2000s, back when they were called Nintendo World

The owner claims they were sold in very low quantities as he never saw them again after he bought it, and not once did he see one being sold online, but that doesn't stop me from searching around if anyone has this oddity

I wonder if it would be worthwhile to search on Japanese dedicated websites like yahoo auctions Japan - you would expect similar products across Nintendo stores and perhaps they sold longer there

In either case I wonder if the manufacturer of the toy I linked and that toy are the same - since the pose is nearly identical

I know how collecting items work, I’ve searched around eBay, Mercari, Mandarake, Facebook marketplace, surugaya, etc

And dude, lots of Mario toys are posed like that, they’re given style guides on how you should make a Mario toy, you can’t just make whatever

I think what I need from this statue is more documentation since I feel like without that image, we wouldn’t have known it existed

Science Facts have been accessible since millennium in the shape and form of Books called "Encyclopedias".
It wouldn't be "DeLivEr sCiEnCe fAcTs iN aN acCesSibLe wAy" if people knew how to read.

There was a time where people became legitimately interested in Reading, I was there... but they all were reading Twilight, 50 Shades of Gray and The Song of Ice & Fire.

It's hard to believe for me that people needs scientists to "DeLivEr sCiEnCe fAcTs iN aN acCesSibLe wAy" to understand a little bit of scientific facts... but then again I always assume people in general are not this fucking illiterate.

Edit: I mean, I always have a low standard bar, but this is lower than that.
