Context: "La Academia" is a reality TV show where 20 singers compete against each other by singing each sunday in national TV. During the rest of the week, each contestant takes singing and dancing classes, chooses a song and practice their performance for 6 days.
Then, on sundays there are "concerts", after which, people votes who gets nominated and who leaves each week. This TV show has existed since the late 90s/early 2000s up till this very year.
Judges are clearly begging people to stop voting for her.
Jolette somehow made it 10 more weeks from that performance.

How do you get in "La Academia"?
Castings are held in each state of the country, you simply register and go to it. If you're choosen, you're in.
The winner of this TV show gets produced a full album and depending on popularity/looks, might even get TV roles or something.
There hasn't been a "La Academia" winner that's been truly popular in my country or anywhere else.

Well... I'd be lying if I'd say that I wouldn't want to meet thst woman.
She seems to be moderately smart (she's not that smart as she got caught, I would've buried the bodies in the patio or beneath my new concrete front porch, but getting away with it for four years?) and she's someone who doesn't had, and surely has anything to lose anyways.
What's the worst it can happen now? Get in jail where the state is legally obligated to feed you, give you shelter, free medical attention, and the possibility of ending sentence early due nice behaviour? Literally a better life than "free" people nowadays.

Yes, but it’s not severe. It’s the most common type of flu. There are other strains. I have a low fever and achy muscles. Coughing a lot, no blood, though. I am contagious. I want to work on my bike, but I’m told I should rest. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO REST!! Haha
