I'm playing Motocross Maniacs... and suddenly got me thinking this:
- Motocross Maniacs is published by "Palcom" which was a subsidiary of KONAMI.
- KONAMI had "Palcom", "Ultra Games" and "KONAMI", "KCE", among others to bypass Nintendo "Seal of Quality" by restricting companies from publishing games sporadically. Konami simply split into many "companies" to publish 2+ games a year per "company".
- That was a decision taken by Nintendo to prevent ATARI's "Videogame Crash" in which devs throughout the 70s released low quality games weekly...
Does this sound familiar today?
Are we heading to another "Videogame Crash" ???
