any third party joycon controllers worth getting. The only joycons I got are the ones that came with my switch. I’m thinking if I should get another pair but don’t want to spend money for Nintendo’s expensive controllers. My pro controllers are already third party and they work great and now I’m hoping there is good third party joycon controllers.

There's a couple of 3rd party joycons that I'm aware, but they're worse than the official ones imo. The first pair is available on Aliexpress; they have a standard d-pad and a similar design to the official ones, but they're wider than usual, have a really low battery life, and the buttons seem to be awful. The second pair is an IPEGA PG-9083, which is actually a Bluetooth gamepad that can be used for smartphones and tablets (as shown in the video, it also works with the Switch). There's also the Nyko Dualies, if you can put up with the really awkward form factor.
