Okay, so im thinking in purchasing a PSP... every PSP that i see in retail stores are PSP 3000's... and i dont know in which firmware these are...
so... i want to play lastest games like final fantasy and such... and i want to softmod it ofcourse...
so now the questions:

can i play online with CFW?
what are the risks of softmodding it?
what are the chances of bricking?

if it bricks or semi-bricks is it recoverable?
even a full brick?
if so how can i do to recover it?

i'd be thankful if someone can answer my questions

1 - Maybe. You could before PSN went down, but we don't know if they'll beef up the protection when it comes back up.

2 - The softmod installer has a test function you can use to see if it'll work or not. If it fails simply reset the PSP's power to fix it.

3 - There's a chance of a brick if you don't read the instructions. If you read and follow the instructions and do the test, there's a very small brick chance.

4 - If it semi-bricks, it's recoverable through 2-3 different methods.

5 - If it full bricks it's dead. The 3000 cannot use a pandora to fix a full brick.

and how can a full brick occur? :S

i want to get one... but if a full brick isnt recoverable... im getting afraid of softmodding it...
