Hacking Thinking of modding my wii..

I think I'm going to go ahead and mod my Wii this weekend. Likely use the WiiKey. Anyway, can anyone confirm if you can still load the patched ISOs on a modded wii or do you have to re-burn without patching?

the isos patched for the loader will NOT be recognized by the disc channel in a modded wii.
