20 Minutes of waiting at GameStop for this
May I pass by you place this night and magically disappear this?

Just the console to come later today now!

Got everything pre-owned, but figured I should probably jump on it before the second hand market adjusts to the increased retail prices. £300ish for the console with cables/controller, £20 for Demon's Souls, £40 for Astro Bot. Not the best, not the worst.

Something about great minds. Got both from Cex yesterday as I had a 80 quid voucher from some decluttering I did a month ago.

I did buy a Gulikit 7 in 1 docking station for my Switch

But the geniouses of Gulitk, even putting compatible with Switch on the box, if you want to use the switch on it YOU MUS TU PUT TEH CONSOLE UPSIDE DOWN

My OCD do not let me to use that way.
So I designed and printed an adapter:

But the cable included on the package is not a normal cable but a male to male extension, and the angle can not be use, so I had to buy a angled extension and a male to male adapter to use this.

But well after a long session of design now I can use the dock as intended:

Greaseweazle. It's over external USB but i've got an adapter to plug it straight into a USB header on my motherboard, so it's going in my floppy drive bay in my case. There was no other feasible option to read floppies because my computer is way too new, I had tried a bunch of other things but eventually resorted to just using my Amiga as a remote drive, the problem with that being that my Amiga is from pre-bankruptcy Commodore and isn't one of the later models with High Density support. You can put a high density disk into it and it'll work but it'll operate in double density mode. So this should let me finally ditch all of the cables and dongles around my room. I'm not a fan of external drives at all :yay:

I know this thread is re: stuff, but I just "got" some good news and want to share. My 22yo daughter was just accepted for a "Coordinator for International Relations" position with the JET Programme, i.e. Japanese govt. If you've never heard of JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching), LINK. Over 90% of people who get a JET job are assigned as Assistant Language Teachers (ALT)* and put in a public school somewhere, but my kid landed one of the CIR jobs, which is only about 8% of JET jobs. We don't know yet where she'll be assigned, but exciting stuff.

* I was also in JET, back in 1991-93, and was an ALT.

It's gotta be the original Ace3DS+ from 2012/2013-ish which popularized the market for R4iLS clones today. These are very hard to find on its own with the 'mario' label now that they've been out of production for so long.

In other news, the MIG dumper has arrived which I can be able to backup my physical Switch games to a 512GB microSD card on my MIG Flash. I've only got two games: Splatoon 3 and Kirby and the Forgotten Land. If I can find some second-hand Switch games that are both cheap and worth playing, then it'll go on this card. :)

The Fractal Design Pop Air. I wanted the first gen version before that's discontinued, since the new version doesn't have space for optical drives.
I've bought one four months ago at the time of writing which does have the extra drive bay at the bottom. So it's discontinued now?!

I don't know if the first version is discontinued, but I wanted to get one for a while.

My old Zalman Z11 Plus was just getting old, brittle, and GPU's are only getting larger and larger.

The Pop Air XL to my understanding has the extra drive bay, you may need to look on Amazon or elsewhere just to find ones about.
