Did you try it out with Amiibos if it's capable of writing tags knowing they're NTAG216?I just got from Alliexpres a cheap USB NFC reader/writer/emulator

I was able to create NFC tags for my filament collection, so from now and on each time I put a filament on the printer, the printer will know the material, cost and color, no more confusion and menu manipulation.

The R on the menu means was read from NFC and even worked on the CFS.
yes I know! is time to change the desiccant on the CFS.
I'd presume you have to use its key to write them accurately.
