Made a cable for my Minirigs, in order to make them easier to use with my desk PC. Didn't go perfectly but this was my first audio cable so I didn't expect anything else. They still work perfectly fine, though.

This is basically RCA for the pre-amp connections on the back of either my Magni or Vali amps to the aux inputs on the Minirigs, with the thing that required me to go custom being that I changed the pinout on the right channel to match the 3.5mm TRS pinout. This is needed because the standard cables that exist are mono only, meaning the tip that holds the left channel audio on a stereo plug has the right channel audio for the right cable. This would require me to change the right speaker to left channel every time I want to use it wired, and change it back to right channel every time I want to use it via bluetooth.
Having the right channel properly on the right pin on the connector prevents me from having to change that on the speaker itself.
This solution also has another small benefit, the speakers themselves aren't perfect when splitting the signal when it's being fed in via aux cable, with the other signal simply not present on the plug that interference doesn't exist either.

Oooh Munchies!! What are the beverages? Alcomaholic or non alcomaholic?
Sadly nonalconautical, but I bought alconauticals as well to help my cave re-arranging operation I hope to wrap up tonight. One is for the lack of a better word, kinda piny-tea-ish pleasant kinda Georgian soda, and the green is taragon based Georgian soda.

Looks like a keyboard from the early 2000's.
Even has the old Kinect dashboard on it just after NXE, very nice. :D

Thrift store find for £15. I found a New 3DS which has been rarely used before.

That's insane. Wish I had bought it. 😅

If I find gaming deals they're on Vinted and if they're incredibly good (= cheap) then it only lasts a few seconds before someone buys it.

I've seen Luigi's Mansion 3 for £10, but every time someone snaps it up.

Anyway, bought Mario 3D All-Stars to play on my Switch 2 and when I'm done, I'll just sell it.

Bought Metroid Dread. It's fucking unplayable.
Unplayable? It played pretty flawlessly at 60 fps in docked mode for me. I believe some boss-fight transitions with lots of effects tanked the FPS slightly. But it didn't really bother me. Apart from that I can't really recall any issues and I'm pretty sensible to irregular frametimes.

I don't care about frame rates or resolutions; it's the controls that suck. Even remapping them doesn't make it remotely playable.

Ordered one of these for a part of the house that I use in the summer:

Yes I know it will make an audiophile throw up, but I don't want to spend more than this and I want something that will work with my laptop.
I've learnt to disregard a lot of what audiophiles say. The Sony earphones that 'don't have very good noise cancelling' I bought recently are excellent. I don't need them to block out a Boeing, just background noise in an office or cafe.

Got a whole bunch of parts for my Game Boy Pocket Color build yesterday, as well as a replacement front cover for my Micro. Sadly the replacement sucks, but I'm not sure if that's a manufacturing error or just how these are, there are streaks all over the front that make the display look striped, kind of like an incorrect polarizer. Haven't heard back from the seller yet on whether that's normal or not, but it doesn't show up on the product photo so I'm leaning towards it being an error.

Also I couldn't resist so I got the winrar bag.
