Came back from the reptile expo today. I didn’t get any new pets (unless you count the isopods for my dart frog enclosure), mainly just some extra plants and mosses. I also got snake food. The worker tried to overcharge me $30 for it. essentially it would have be $7.50 for food for my small hognose and for my adult corn snake it should have been $10 but she entered the price wrong and kept insisting she was right even when her co worker kept telling her she was wrong.

The big bag is fruit fly food for the flies I feed my frogs. The smaller purple and green bag is crested gecko (or any other fruit-eating gecko) food. The bigger container of moss was cheaper than those two smaller pieces of moss. Each bromeliad was $20 because they are kind of rare where I live.

Edit: fixed the doubled lines. I don't know why some lines were doubled

Just got one of those cheap gameboy-like Linux based emulation devices, and trust me, it works awesomely!

Quoted from product page:

Data Frog R36S Retro Handheld Video Game Console Linux System 3.5 Inch IPS Screen R35S Plus Portable Pocket Video Player

Bought a bunch of stuff these last few days, probably just to resell...

DS4 Controller
Switch (1.0 model)
JSRF + Sega GT Combo Xbox
Zelda Hourglass DS

A silver OG DS boxed to keep (at least for now, I guess).

And just now, to keep: EZ Flash Parallel (w/new user discount on AliExpress)

Won't be buying another flashcart and only purchased because it's by EZ Flash so am interested how it works as their GBA cart is excellent.

The most gaming I've done lately is just play GBA games (5-10mins) via a DS and that's about it. I don't enjoy gaming as much as I used to.

Good thing is that I didn't pay retail price for any of this so I'll just get my money back if I want by reselling it.

Always been curious about what's my blood type so ordered a blood type test kit to do at home.

I know, I could do know my blood type for "free" if I donated blood, but I'm not sure I'd really want to do that. You may call me "selfish" if you want.

In addition, seeing this below (which took them 40yrs to admit) certainly does not help.

Bought a cheap hot air soldering station (never used one before, so to learn how to use one):

And some cans of valve lubrication for the car (they are rusty because they are second-hand but still unopened):

Very nice to practice on something small. Learn the technique. I’m still learning. :)

Also, flux will be your friend. Never forget to include them.

Took these photos with flash to show the scratches, but in person it's not really that bad. Reckon I'll just keep and hack the console to play a few exclusives I want.

That Pikachu Joy-Con only works on handheld mode, no Bluetooth mode.

Truly a cable put together by engineers...

Been needing one to connect my multiviewer box to the PC via serial and turn off damn HDCP. No idea why it's not an option on the actual on-screen menu it has, or why it doesn't include an actual cable to connect it to the PC with out of the box. Either way, my manager at work hooked me up with the goods so HDCP begone!
