So, after trying three different motherboards (ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi, MSI Pro B650M-A, and a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi), three different RAM kits (a Corsair Vengeance 5200 MHz and two T-Force 32GB 6000MHz), and three different PSUs (the Sama Black Diamond 1000W, Corsair RM850, and RM750E), it turns out my Ryzen 5 7600 is defective. The PC posts and can get into the BIOS fine, but when I try to install Windows 10 or 11, it gives me random BSOD codes when the installer boots up.
So now I have the luxury of sending the CPU to AMD for RMA.
The Asus motherboard, the Corsair RAM, and the 850W are from my main PC, and with all the extra parts I have, I can basically build another PC. I would just need to get another CPU. So my nephew will probably be getting a gaming pc for Christmas.
