Recently my gf got for me an original and unmodded Wii of EU region (not many dirty in some places and ejecting problems) with all items and box
She will send me it soon
Turns out it was semi brick with disk update wrong region (system settings stuck at opera error screen). After random attempts with different versions and regions settings in ModMii it worked with 4.2 EU and after fix with AnyRegion all good now

Wheeeeeee!

Anker's Soundcore 3

I was between Sony SRS-XB100 and Soundcore 3, and went with the latter as reviews were overall more favorable and has stereo sound.

Before this, I had bought a Bluetooth speaker from AliExpress for $13ish branded "Zealot," but the audio quality sounded pretty bad and muffled so sent it back.

Two more factory DSis for a total of three!

These took stupidly long to get. I bought a lot with a friend (split 50/50). They're in the US and I'm Canada so shipping was crazy expensive. Instead I had my friend ship to another friend in a state near me. Then a third friend in my city went to the US to see the second friend and brought back the DSis.

It was worth the wait though because I saved $80 USD (plus import fees).

Man, 55 000 ARS are aprox 56 USD!!!! that is a lot for a so used element, you can get a new one for less than 10 USD here on Colombia, sorry your economy is really on a bad place, Hope everything continue to improve soon. Thankfully your macroeconomics is recovering.

I know recover the 40 years trashed microeconomy will take a lot of time.

So, after trying three different motherboards (ASUS TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi, MSI Pro B650M-A, and a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi), three different RAM kits (a Corsair Vengeance 5200 MHz and two T-Force 32GB 6000MHz), and three different PSUs (the Sama Black Diamond 1000W, Corsair RM850, and RM750E), it turns out my Ryzen 5 7600 is defective. The PC posts and can get into the BIOS fine, but when I try to install Windows 10 or 11, it gives me random BSOD codes when the installer boots up.

So now I have the luxury of sending the CPU to AMD for RMA.

The Asus motherboard, the Corsair RAM, and the 850W are from my main PC, and with all the extra parts I have, I can basically build another PC. I would just need to get another CPU. So my nephew will probably be getting a gaming pc for Christmas.

Went through our abandoned devices at work the other day and found a couple iPad Air 4's that were sitting in the back. Just needed screen replacements, was able to factory reset them and remove the iCloud locks so I bought one of them for myself. No idea what I'm gonna use it for TBH, but meh might as well for ~$100 .

990 Evo's are on sale at Amazon currently, so ordered a 2TB for $130 to replace my aging 2TB ADATA SX8100 I use for game storage, sitting at about 400TBWs at this point . Not too worried about the missing DRAM cache, it's never go to be used for anything super intensive and the onboard SLC cache should be more than enough for my use-case.

Also preordered the digital deluxe version of Astro Bot cuz it looks super fun.

I returned to the house I grew up in and found my old N64, so I did what any self-respecting rose-tinted adult would do and popped it open to get it all cleaned up for an Everdrive 64 X5 I picked up.

Still waiting on some cables for upscaling, but it's been very fun and rewarding to work on the hardware I grew up on.

Annnnd also managed to get my hands on the "MiSTER Pi", the "$100 FPGA" :yay: Been wanting to get some sort of FPGA device for ages but didn't want the spend the multiple hundreds of dollars for a full kit. Was super excited when Taki Udon announced he was working on this, so definitely been trying to make an attempt at grabbing one. Didn't manage to get it during the first batch drop a couple days ago but got lucky this time ^_^
