Hacking there's something wrong with the sandisk card

i recieved a sandisk card through the post this morning from play.com and when i put it the adapter to put all the goodies on it it heated up really quickly.
i at this point was woried that my adapter was broken so i tried my card and it was fine so i tried the sd card adapter with it and i couldn't get it out of the card once i'd put it it.
i tried formating it with my nokia to see if that could read it and it wasn't able to format it
i've just looked at the card and it looks bent and i know i haven't bent it.
i'm sure it's the card, anyone else have any problems with a card like this

My sandisk 2gig corrupted a few time. So Kingston is the best microSD out there for Slot-1?

well i sent the card back last saturday and they've already recieved it and refunded my money back

used sandisks with all of my m3 devices (about 7-8 of them) and I've never had a problem with corruption.
