Well any program to MAKE the theme would be fine, but I use Photoshop for everything I make. And ever since Corel bought-out Jasc Software (Jasc made PaintShop Pro 9 and below) there has been nothing but added bloat and online activation. When Corel bought them out, I was fucking LIVID... and switched to Photoshop. Glad I did though.

Maybe I worded my firsp post wrong, I just want Nintendo to let us create our own custom themes using .PNG files from our SD cards... Whatever app we use to make them is irrelevant.

That didn't work for me.
Did you remove it via the Dev Menu manually or something? (which ID does the Halloween theme have?)

i think all themes share the same id CTR-M-HMMP-00 this is why you can only install one theme.

Changing the id to CTR-M-HMMP-01 didn't pull it off, but I assume that 01 is in use too then?
I again got the exact 0xD8E08027 error btw.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
