I don't think you could say that Pokemons are the worst game on GBA, maybe you don't like them, but it's surely not the worst based on that..

Oh, I don't know - the OP wanted the worst games, and I certainly rank anything Pokemon on GBA to be amongst the worst games in existence. Mind you, I really detest these "franchise-style" series where the publisher's main aim is to get kids to part with their cash without putting any effort into game development at all. As games go, Pokemon is up there with Barbie in the crapness stakes.

I will admit that there hasn't been much change in a pokemon game since ruby/sapphire but why mess with a wining formula? Also how can you say they put no effort into development of the game? There is a pretty complicated stat building/leveling system that makes facing others a lot more fun. I'm not a pokemon fanboy but just because you dislike a game it doesn't mean its one of the worst games out there and comparing it to barbie? I'm willing to bet you have never played a barbie game and your just naming things you think suck(Although I admit it does suck, played barbie skate on my nieces gba). I hate Halo and it's sequels but I don't say its one of the worst games for xbox.

I don't think it should be called THE WORST game for GBA!
Especially when it actually called one of the BEST games for it, even tho I don't like later sequels!

And I have too, my opinion is that game such as Pokemons (or Final Fantasy Tactics Advance) can't be labeled as WORST GBA title just because you hate it..

There are far, far worst games, I know you'll say, but it's your opinion, and I'll say that you either haven't played enough games on GBA, or you're just looking for a debate or something, because games that are polished that well (even tho they are repetitive, and just work on the same formula over and over again) can't be called WORST of them all, it doesn't work that way..

It would be same as calling a Ferrari the WORST car, because you don't like the fact that most of them are red.....when in fact, there are bunch of worst cars then Ferrari, and you hating them doesn't qalify them to a worst of all.....

I think that this thread was supposed to be a place where worst of the worst should be listed (as in general, really bad games for GBA that one shouldn't play, or should try out just to see how bad can game get), and I don't think that Pokemons fit here at all..

And that's my opinion, I'm not trying to get in fight or anything, I'm stating my opinion on this matter

I gotta disagree about 'anything' Disney. The Magical Quest games are pretty fun. Also I was surprised that Lilo and Stitch was a shooter game somewhat reminiscent of Metal Slug. It was nowhere as good as MS but for a kids game it was pretty good.

My problem with FFTA is not that it's repetitive. My problem is that in the 150 or so hours I put into it I was not challenged once.

I don't hate FFTA. It's just a boring game. I'd rather do something else than play it. Same with Pokemon.

Anyway, I thought "worst game" had to do how much you liked a game. Not objectively worst games (which is kind of an oxymoron), but which games you don't like. I can understand what you mean, though. To use your metaphor, comparing Pokeman (a series that people with some talent might be involved with and some gamers like) to shovelware (which almost everyone knows to have no redeeming characteristics and no gamers like) is like comparing a Ferrari (and Pokemon is definitely not a Ferrari) to a car in a garbage heap. Some people will prefer cars in garbage heaps to Ferraris, but those people are kind of crazy. Or maybe they haven't seen working cars, maybe they can't understand why Ferraris are superior to my mom's Ford Explorer (this is more like Pokemanz).

If this discussion is about bad games it'd be better to talk about actual games and not shovelware. There are probably not even 100 games worth talking about in the GBA's library, and I'd rather talk about those.

Demikids is the absolute worst for me! I remember when I was a kid it took me ages to beat the game and when I finally did pass it I wasn't satisfied at all.. =[

Rare made this game.

It's no wonder to me that Nintendo let these guys sell out to Microsoft, since they haven't made a noteworthy title since Perfect Dark on N64. An dI'd wager that off to most of their competent staff quitting and forming Free Radical instead, leaving the company as a shell. Yet, somehow, Microsoft's disinterest in the handheld market allowed Rare to keep making GBA games for what was now a competitor.

I have no idea what the hell this is. The mascot is a creepy cartoon middle-aged man in a hat and underwear. It seems to be a collection of minigames, none of which is particularly playable.

I'm suspicious that Microsoft only allowed this, knowing damn well that Nintendo was receiving an awful game to clutter their library with.

They are some if the worst games I've ever played. I do my best to only play good games.

Why don't you like the PlayStation? Is it the console design? The games?

The reason I don't want to talk about shovelware is that there's little to criticize about them. All it takes is something like, "this game is glitchy, it's not challenging, there's nothing fun to do, etc., etc." That's seriously a complete review of 99% of shovelwares.

Now that I think about it, there's not much more to criticizing pokemon or FFTA than, "they're easy and simple strategy games".

Why don't you like the PlayStation? Is it the console design? The games?

There are some really good games for it, but I don't like the whole feel of the console, I never owned it, and I never will..I'm not a Nintendo fanboy or something like that, I never actually played anything other than Nintendo handhelds.. I do own SNES, but I got it for collecting purposes, not for playing..

But that was my point, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but in this case if one says that FFTA is the single worst game on GBA, I just think they are just flamebaiting.......You can't name one of the best games the worst, just because you don't like to play it..If you really think that, than you obviously haven't played much GBA titles, and shouldn't even post in this thread.. (I'm not talking about you Loiuisian, but I'm talking generally!)..

Klonoa Heroes.

I've liked every game in the series, with the exception of this one. It differs too much from all the other games in the series, and not in a good way. They tried to do something different, and failed horribly.

I only vaguely remember the game, but the original games were great because of it's unique 2.5D Sidescrolling and simple but charming graphics. Klonoa Heroes is a crappy cash-in Action RPG that shames the series.

Let's see the only GBA I have hated was none really. Because I hadn't played any bad GBA games. I say FFAT just because I lose to it during the first in-game battle. Besides that I didn't really care.
