today, i saw another news link warning of a unstoppable zero day vulnerability on windows. and it hasnt been that long since i saw the last "cpu flag that will end the world!!1111!" link. i have been disconnected from technology for some years now, but the apocaliptic news still reached me from time to time, so i decided to make a list of how many times a year the computing world ends acording to the news:

i remmember the KRAK (wpa2) and i think there have been a handful of spectre/meltdown similar. the "the world is ending" link of today is this

post what other extra-alarming computer news you find, it can include "this new law will end the internet" kind of news, and yes i know this is a very shitty thread mainly because my crappy english and my crappy human comunication skills that will die soon. im bored and will post anyway.

There's the EARN IT act which makes it possible for the government to force companies to implement backdoors in their encryption, or lose the protections established in Section 230 of the DCMA, which would man that said companies could be held liable for the content posted on their site if they don't comply with the government's demands.
