Use a blank card to firmare update
The Switch can't read an empty Mig Flash. Check the SD card for a hidden file called .nxindex in the root of the SD card with a Hex Editor. It will show the installed version.Tried again using an old 4gb Micro SD. Formated it exFAT and copied the 1.2.0 firmware to the root of the card. Inserted it in the Mig Switch and inserted the migswitch in my Switch 1. It flased 3 times while/pink light and I got an "Can't read the gamecard" error message

Ok, now remove the small card and put back the card with games, make sure you do not have the upgrade firmware file on the root of this card and try again.Tried again using an old 4gb Micro SD. The person who had their Switch 2 banned for supposedly using the Mig Flash, they didn't say if their dumps were trimmed or not. It could be that Nintendo is now checking ROM sizes now.
Both the Mig Flash USB Dumper and their NRO dumper trim dumps. Nintendo CAN detect if a ROM is trimmed but didn't seem to ban anyone on the Switch 1 for it. I wonder if they are now enforcing it.Does the dumper trim files?
1. Mig Flash can only play retail updates/DLC that you got from Nintendo Online. You cannot use fake signed packages.ok question has probably been asked a million times sorry i couldnt see it
can migswitch v2 play dlc/update files of games? how would that work
does it still work in nintendo switch 2?
and does a migswitch work same pretty much as a modded paper clip switch 1
theres probably something on the cart that was unused on switch 1 but is now being used on the switch 2 hence why they werent working from the get go, i am wondering though regarding these bans we have no way of knowing if these people got banned for using with the update or got banned from trying to use the mig on the previous firmware which resulted in an error message and probably produced logs, bans normally take like 5 days to happen in my experienceBoth the Mig Flash USB Dumper and their NRO dumper trim dumps. how is this compared to the mig dumper homebrew ive been using that still got the 0.01 version lolhttps://github.com/DarkMatterCore/nxdumptool/releases
This should make perfect dumps, no trim or such.
