Definitely not immediately banned. I've opened multiple cards, including some that play online so if it's detectable and Nintendo cares, my Switch is definitely dirty
youre all good aslong as the cert matches the roms you have, ive played a bunch of games online with correct certs no issue ive had only consoles banned from using certs from other games, me and my mate even palyed splatoon 3 at the same time together using the same dump lol

for both of my bans they didnt happen until like 5 days after the first online play with a mismatched cert

speaking of is there a tool that allows you to verify if a game is provided with the correct certificate?

I'm having issues trying to run my migswitch. I downloaded the 1.2.0 firmware, unzipped it, copied it to my 128gb micro SD card with two extrated games (with 5 files each). At first the MigSwitch led flashed white 3 times and I got an error message. Tried a few times with different SDcards and different zip programs (nanazip, winrar, original zip) with the same result. Than I fomated everyting, donwloaded the firmware again and now the led flashes 3 times green and than I got an error message.

Does anyone knows how can I solve this issue?

Regards

Use a blank card to firmare update

Tried again using an old 4gb Micro SD. Formated it exFAT and copied the 1.2.0 firmware to the root of the card. Inserted it in the Mig Switch and inserted the migswitch in my Switch 1. It flased 3 times while/pink light and I got an "Can't read the gamecard" error message

The Switch can't read an empty Mig Flash. Check the SD card for a hidden file called .nxindex in the root of the SD card with a Hex Editor. It will show the installed version.

Ok, now remove the small card and put back the card with games, make sure you do not have the upgrade firmware file on the root of this card and try again.

At the end of this file I have "1.2.0 >> Migflash.com" So it seams that the Migswitch is updated. Now I need to know why it cant see and read my dumped games.

I'll try dumping another game

I wonder what exactly was changed in the firmware for the mig to get it working.
Hoping that it wasn't a dirty fix that will be detectable, for this reason I'm going to stick with the original carts on the switch 2 for now.

Someone has been banned apparently I would avoid mig on switch 2 until more bans happen he coulda made bad dumps or something theres no way of knowing, he says he dumped his own games and put them on there, i went online with mig on switch 1 on newest fw at the weekend and am fine so far there

The person who had their Switch 2 banned for supposedly using the Mig Flash, they didn't say if their dumps were trimmed or not. It could be that Nintendo is now checking ROM sizes now.
