OK so I've tried doing this and no luck. The light still only flashes red and a cart read error still pops up, and the dumper still holds a solid red light when attempting to flash the firmware that way. I think I might have just got a dud because I know the dumper is fully functional and so is my switch's cartridge slot.
Ive had the MIG do weird things if I rename the files and folders from what they where dumped as
Sadly same result. I've tried 5 different game backups and the update file, same red led.
What brand micro SD card are you using? Maybe try a different, like a Sandisk.
That's the kicker I've used 3 different Sandisk SD cards, I even bought a new one just to make sure the ones i had weren't the problem.
I have a screw less dumper case design I made…maybe I should finally make the final touches and upload the STL..
