Hacking The Sims 3 cheat help!

I'm trying to get Sims 3 cheats on my AK2.1 using akaio 1.8.1 and i need to know this:

Using the action replay code manager, it says there is an (M) code and an AR fix code (must be on). do i need these?

Please help!!!

no you don't need them. those are for regular ARDS.
