Hacking The New Massive R4DS Cheat Database

I have both a r4 and a cyclods, I just do not understand how to make the xml file to work with the cyclods cheat editor. You say remove the pokemon codes but how and where? Please help. And thank you very much for your cheat database, best on the net.

Open Yasu's R4CCE

Open up any of the files included in Rayder's .zip

Find Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

Select them all and Delete them.

Save as...

Choose .xml file type and save it.

Load up CycloTools Cheat Editor

Import the .xml file

Save as evoCheats.

Done.

Codes added. If there are other new codes, I don't see them. To me, it looks like CodeJunkies hasn't added any new codes in a few days.

Tested the codes on my R4......they worked fine for me.

Possibly, you need to fix your _DS_MENU.DAT file. From now on, I will include Yasu's R4 bugfix file in the download. I altered the instruction text so it is understandable. It's a very simple program to use. I have used it on my R4 (running firmware 1.16) and the Jewel Quest codes worked. Maybe that's all you need to do. Supposedly, it fixes E and F type codes in the R4 and M3 Simply's cheat engine. Don't ask me what those designations mean.....I don't know, but I'm gonna guess that the Jewel Quest codes were either E or F types....or both. Anyway, use that program and they should start working.

puzzle quest is added from codejunkies too but i dont see it in your dat. do u use the action replay code manager to get the codes? after getting them comparing it with winmerge e.g. or how do u add the codes?

Please list out which codes you want added. I started to add codes, but then I noticed many dupes. Since the descriptions are in Engrish when translated, it's hard to spot when the codes are actually the same without wasting a lot of time hunting though them. This game has way too many codes.

Puzzle Quest (U) are indeed in the dat. Naruto Ninja Destiny (U) codes cannot be found (or don't exist) at this time.

Some of the Bleach codes said they REQUIRED an updated AR firmware, so they might not work in a flashcart.

When i look at the code list, their are ywo folders with codes for it, one with a lot of codes(including the backlight codes0, and another with just the backlight codes). So there are a total of 4 codes, 2 for phat and 2 for light.
