It is not giving me the option to cheat when i highlight platinum, and some other games that are on the list, what have i done wrong?

Get a new flashcart that doesn't need a patch or change the Game ID for the codes to the one of the patched game.

Changing the game ID doesn't guaranty codes will work because patching might alter the address for the codes ?
example ragnarok DS (English Patch)

Well, in Sonic Chronicle's case (the only game I want codes for -though really, I dont know if the specific code I want is even available anyway) the patch is simply a protection bypass, isn't it? Would that alter the address of the codes? Whatever that means

err, i don think sonic chronicle has any anti-piracy measures in it, but with regards to ur question, the answer is most likely no, but and i emphasis BUT, the game id might be different, it all depends really on the game and nature of the patch, but i doubt anything will change.

I can't answer you on whether codes will be different or not! Is always no harm trying!? if it works for you then congrats~!

so if you really need to patch it only you can play ~! then patch it

just use r4cce ... function locate the game id and save accordingly~! if you are r4 user please read #9548 and click on the link provided

I realise that the answer to my question is probably already somewhere here on the forum, but I've looked everywhere I could think of to look and haven't found the answer.

What about for m3 ds real i used r4cce to change my cheat file and delete all games that i wont needit for and moved Yu-gi-oh! 5D'S Stardust Accelerator to the top of the cheat list hwoever it still doesn't work also I have tried to use the patch however i don't know which file to patch.

for m3real, there is no need to do anything...just d/l the cheat.db and put it in the System folder of your microsd
or if you want edit the cheat files with r4cce, download the usrcheat.dat, removes the games you don't want then choose Save As cheat.db

Well, it doesn't do that to me. Sometimes when I load it up, it freezes, the cheat is on, it just freezes. But it just does that sometimes, so it's ok.

Can the code "Pokeradar Shiny Pokemon" (for Pokemon Platinum) be detectable by pAC, or another program that tests the legitimacy of a shiny pokemon?

I'd like to know if anyone has run a pokemon caught this way through a hack checker, to see if it comes out clean.
