I'm not sure what the UE version contained beyond eliminating the (J) games, but maybe you could remove the backlight codes from it to shorten it further to work again?
Sadly that won't help as the problem has to do with the number of games and not the actual size of the file. So R4 users either have to create their own cheat file with the games they want or use YSMenu. I discontinued the UE cheat file as even that now is to big for all the cheats to show up.


We knew this day would come Narin, didnt we.. I said it from Day 1 when I suggested UE..

If only there was another solution.. U Cheat..?? E Cheat?? I dont know..

U or E dat is good idea but what i thought of is a U/E database that contains only major games

however, doing anything above is just giving us more work and noobs/newbies/newcomers will never learn! so the best solution is for them to maintain their own database!

those who are lazy should not even bother to cheat or just buy a new flash card!

The UE was made purely as the full one got too full, so they removed the japanese cheats.
When it got too clogged.

I'd recomend just ignoring R4 users when the ask for help, I mean THERE IS A FLASHING NOTICE ABOUT THE DAMNED CHEAT.DAT! and if they can't bothered to read that, why annoy everyone instead? If it makes it any more obvious then:

Hey i put the my edited USRCHEAT.dat into my ds, but some games were not showing up... like Club Penugin and GTA chinatown wars. All the other ones worked tho!

Where is this "encrypt fle" option u guys keep talking about?

I really wanted those 2 games' cheats to show up... Plz help

I see, so it's the number of games and not strictly file size, eh? Hmm.

And the issue is non-existent when using YSmenu? If so, I guess that's fine then, since my friend's kid's R4's both have YSmenu instead of the original firmware. It was mainly for them that I was concerned about it, since I hook them up with games all the time. I haven't used MY old R4 in ages....not even sure where it is at the moment.

I just realized that BOTH GTA and club penguin were PATCHED so they would work... i d/led the rom and it didnt work so i got a patched version. Does that maybe have something to do with the problem? I tried the regualr version again but it doesnt work and i hav 2 use the patched one.

yeah get clean rom or once again use r4cce to change the game id ..
locate it by using the . . . function next to the game id
make sure you save

encrypt file? hahahah if you are using usrcheat.dat then you don't need to encrypt it

the clean rom wont work.. (Save data coud not be acessed error)
