@noobs, please don't ask for codes. WiFi codes aren't here for the reason that everyone matters. And also cause we wanna prove the ESRB wrong.

I was the one who mandated that no "online" WiFi codes are to be in the dat way back when I started the project that is now the official GBAtemp dat. Local WiFi is generally fine though. It was something the GBAtemp community agreed was a good idea.

This has become a very good rule that makes the dat a lot safer for public consumption. Trust me when I say that you don't want little 9 year old Timmy & Sally (who's parents hook 'em up with games) having devastating cheats when playing a game online.

You wanna cheat online? Dig up the codes from the bowels of the internet and add them yourself.

I did this because otherwise EVERYBODY would be cheating online with greatest of ease, completely ruining Ninty's already poor infrastructure, and the DAT would stand out as a source of the problem.

The rule still stands today, therefore, no online WiFi codes in the dat.

We consider Local WiFi fine though, because the cheating can be more coordinated and potentially more fun.....or at least everyone involved is right there and can gang up on someone if they think he or she is cheating outside of the agreed parameters. Local WiFi could be great fun with cheats.

You don't have that control with online WiFi cheats. People unwittingly get burned...HARD....online. That's just not right.

This dat was created in the spirit of fun and "getting over that hump" in a game, not dominating online rankings.

That's why we don't condone online WiFi cheats in the dat.
