Thats correct, I ended up changing the location once more though this one is final. The staff here was kind enough to create an account for me on GBATemp where I can upload the files to their server. Also since its on the server itself and not in te download section, you can directly download them and resume and download accelerators are now supported.

Also as I said in the past, if the old download link doesn't work for you, check my signature. It will always be updated with the latest location to get the cheat files.

In other news, I've been helping a fellow here who is working on a neat little project for the Nintendo DS. A homebrew application that lets you download the cheat files and updates to them straight from your Nintendo DS over a WiFi connection. It should be out soon.

Excellent idea will definitely get this. Hope its doesn't crash and mess up all your files like DSOrganize

what are you talking about? if you want to use codes, use it for the region the game is from. if its U, use the U codes. if its E, use the E codes.

Thats the case sometimes but when you hack a game, sometimes you mess with the region. Therefore, even if you have the region game, if its been hacked, the codes probably won't work. But this happens sometimes. My friend had a problem with that the other day playing the JUS hack.

Ok folks, here is how the game ID is determined. thfirt 4-5 letters that in the Game ID is the region code as well as an identifier for the actual game. The last digit is the region while the ones before it, is the game identifier. If the last digit is a P, its European, E is USA, J is Japanese and so on. The 8 alphanumeric characters that follow that, normally separated by a space or hyphen, is the games checksum. Basically the checksum is a unique hash created from the games core files to differentiate different versions of the game, edited games, ect. Editing a game changes the checksum, so translating a game, undubbing it, ect all changes the games checksum. So if you modify the game, the Game ID changes so no codes will show up for the game since the game ID is different than the original.

So to make them work, you need the new Game ID and create a copy of the codes from the original game and change the Game ID to the new one. Hence why theres sometimes duplicate entries in the cheat database, its for modified/translated versions of the game.

Now I don't keep up to date with all translation projects, undubbings and so on, so if the game shows up as having no cheats for it and the original modified version does, you need to fill me in on the new Game ID so I can add it in.

The Codes for Diamond and The World Ends With You work for me on my acekard2 but i haven't tried all of the codes

how did you get the cheats to work with acekard2? i'm using the 05-29-08.zip and i can only get unlimited ultra balls, full restore, and iron plate. all other cheats: badges, pokemon: dialga, legendary trio, kanto legends, etc all other cheats don't work.

I'm a complete noob at all of this, I've downloaded and extracted the CHEAT.DAT file. Do I just simply drag and drop it into the route of the transflash or do I need so make separate folder(s)?

Also with applications such as pocket physics, do I just put them onto the route of the transflash?
