@wtfisausername: Yes. the ndsinfo.dat has the four letter code that each game is given. It also has the file save size. Along with the game title and a release number(where there list comes from i don't know). When you put the cursor over the .nds file it checks the header for the four letter code and then matches it to the release number, save size, and title. When you load the .nds it then load the .scc from the cheat folder in the scshell folder

The .scc works great on supercard ds1 and supercard lite. but does anyone know how the cheats in C:\Program Files\SC\ndscheat\eng are renamed so that the cheat file would be added when the games are patched on the supercard lite? The cheat files in the dir is the cart code, then the following i dont know.

Yep thats the problem for slot-2 sc's, I can't see a way round it, apart from asking sc to make the pacthing software look for the full game-id for the cheat code name, instaed of the weirdness it's doing now.

Hey Narin. First let me say you are the man. Second, so i updated my R4 with the 7-20 code list release... and for some reason Yoshi Island's Codes disappeared. Plus do you have any codes for Trace Memory.

Maybe someone hasn't realized but the reason some of the later cheats with Z or Y don't show up may be due to the fact that the R4 has a code limitation

I'm working on that, I will shorten the names the best I can and include a text/guide file for each game so you can see what cheat is what.

Little problem.

Some FFTA2 codes aren't working for me, I'm using a CycloDS Evo, running the 1.5 BETA 1 firmware which should have better cheat compatibility. The codes that usually don't work/freeze up are the 100% Hit codes and the Super Job/Race modifiers.

Hey Akamai,

I don't know about the Super Job/Race codes, but I am having the same problem with 100% Hit. It seems to happen when enemies do traps (don't know why though). I'm currently starting a new game with a 99% Hit and I have yet to meet a monster that does traps...

I'll keep you people informed of the progression (when I finally meet a monster that traps!

Oh, and by the way, using the M3 DS Real 3.8...

Truthfully, all that should be needed for FF IV (U) is the Game ID. The cheat codes are likely to be identical to the (J) release. If someone could post the game ID, I could test it out.

EDIT - Sorry, but I forgot that I could get the ID myself. Here it is - YF4E 99358f97 I am willing to bet that you can copy the cheat codes for the (J) version into your USRCHEAT.dat using the above game id instead... Testing now..

EDIT 2 - Doesn't seem to be working so far...

To every one that is say just use the jap version codes. The offset change any time they recompile the code which would include changing the language. so the codes from the jap version will not work with the eng version. the offset need to be found again. the format should stay the same or similar.

    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

    Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
