yes i would say that it didn't work first becouse ur patch changed the game id to someting different from the 2 in the database
becouse u now have patched correctly it works, next time, to find a game id, just use R4CCE, click on the game, and then press the button "..." then select your game, it should automaticly obtain the id

hope I cleard that up for ya, if u have more questions, ask them

i'm just happy that you actualy tryed and read stuff and didn't just say " cheats aren't showing up"

Natin, I was trying the "Item Slot 1 Mod Codes" for DRagon Quest IV(U/E) and they seem to modify slot 1 on Ragnar, are they supposed to be that way? It would be more convenient if the code modfied slot 1 of the bag instead of slot 1 of a specific character.

Most of the codemakers seem to have only played part if chapter 1, so they only made codes for the chapter 1 character - Ragnar.

Bag Slot 1 address is 020C7B48
Ragnar Slot 1 Address is 020C92FC
The other 9 characters code addresses are all are 50C apart
Hero + 50C = Heroine, Heroine + 50C = Ragnar, then Alena, Kiryl, Borya, Torneko, Meena, Maya and Psaro in this order.
Any slot or stat code may be modified for another character by adding or subtracting a multiple of 50C.
Bag slot one equals Hero slot one minus 50C.
