Why in the world would you want to make a podcast?! You suck!

Well, frankly, I'm bored and feeling productive. Besides, there aren't enough quality Nintendo-centric podcasts out there, most of them updating only a few times per year. Besides, it'll be fun.!

Yep! But most of you have begun to ignore my blog posts (no offense taken, they're pretty boring. Seriously.)

What can I do to help?

Do you have a microphone? Do you have an internet connection? How about a computer that runs Linux, BSD, Mac OSX, or Microsoft Windows? Are you available to chat at about 8PM Eastern time? If so, post below to "apply" for a spot on the podcast! Seriously. I need 2-3 people.

Seriously - would be cool if I could get this up and running. Please help!

Wow - this is actually going better than expected.

For the first episode, I think I'll go with iFish and Geoflcl - Gore, you can come on later (iFish seems to have a problem with you, whatever. I also wanna hear how you'll chat, though, first - don't want it to go too off-topic.)

While I will continue to talk to people on skype, at their discretion, the first episode will not be recorded for about a week, when I get a new headset. I tested my current headset with a video conference recording, and it is has too much static for a podcast.

This is a recipe for success in any talkshow/conversation. Get two people that don't like each other on the same show and listeners will drop in by the truckload.

Haha, the problem is that if they start fighting, or iFish gets upset, I have to cut it all out, and I don't like editing. The podcast isn't high school - it's a podcast, leave the drama at home.

Ok...I ordered my mic so we should be able to record this weekend. No promises.

As for you, gore, I don't want it to be too off-topic and annoying to listen to. Nothing against you, but from what you've told me, it won't fly.

I can have one (maybe two) more people for this coming podcast, so if you have skype, a decent mic, and time after 8pm eastern to talk, sign up now, just add me on skype (monkat_sexy), and we'll see if we want ya on board! Probably we do.

Also, women are appreciated. It is a sausage fest as it stands, and will probably remain that way forever.

Ill be rotating volunteers for a while until we "form" a group of regulars. I am hesitant about gore because he wants to "bullshit" on my podcast. Nothing against it, just not what I want.

I can't stay up after 8 unless I have a good reason (ex. talking to my dad or something.) My mom wouldn't let me stay up if it was a podcast...... I do have Fall break next week, and Saturdays off,though. I might join if there are not enough people for the job.
