This was specifically confirmed because sales are counted separately for the two releases (Switch 1 and Switch 2), and neither individually featured in the list of million+ sellers in the latest financial report, so people were concerned/bitching/gloating or whatever else internet weirdos do.

And the sales figures were only until the end of the calendar year, so the game achieved over a million total sales in under a month since its December 4th release. Pretty good news for the series and its fans, except the ones who prefer to bitch etc.

I haven't yet tbh, got it waiting to be played. Overall I see at least as many good impressions from other players as negative ones, especially now the initial fuss has died off.
