Yes, it had an expansion port on the left side you could plug accessories into, like the modem you see in that photo, or a little thermo printer, etc.

If only they could bring back something like the old Club Nintendo, with actual reward. I remember of my yoshi t-shirt. That was probably my best reward back then (I remember finding a second one in my package, maybe a bug in the order? But there was one that would fit my size, and a smaller one that would fit my sister's size )

From where I'm standing it's only disappointing people that expected a 5090 and 9950X3D level experience from it. It's exactly what I was expecting plus a little of that goofy Nintendo touch (controller mice, what are they cooking?).
