Funny story, my first shiny was a Golbat encountered in one of the caves in HG, thought the game broke (didn't know about shinies at the time), still caught it tho, and i restarted the game to see if it'd still look that way and it did..

No. the thing is i probably missed seeing that animation because i wasn't fully paying attention to what's on the screen (i was grinding, you know how that can get). And even if i did like i said i didn't know much about shinies at the time, so yea.
