It's an art project, not a "future of photography". It's pretty interesting. It takes your location and orientation, then compiles a description of the area based on online information, then creates an image based on the description of the place, not on actual photos. It's like sketching a picture based on a written description. It's interesting to see the difference between the actual scene and the recreated scene.
